What changed

Six meaningful upgrades.

X80GT 3 keeps the compact, high-output character of the X80 family and adds the control, protection, and flexibility needed for longer work in demanding environments.

01 / POWER

Two battery strategies

Choose a built-in 4×18650 battery pack or a replaceable-cell compartment for battery swaps in the field.

02 / VISIBILITY

High-CRI side light

CRI ≥95 side illumination works alone for close-range tasks or together with the main beam for all-around light.

03 / CONTROL

Stepless dimming

Set brightness smoothly instead of being limited to fixed steps: 150–3,500 lm or 100–3,200 lm, depending on version.

04 / HANDLING

Patented handle

The detachable handle improves grip and helps insulate your hand from heat, then removes for compact storage.

05 / PROTECTION

4 mm AR glass

Thickened anti-reflective glass improves pressure resistance while maintaining a crisp, clear view through the optic.

06 / SAFETY

Mechanical lock

A three-position magnetic mechanical lock on the Multi-Light-Source Version improves safety and convenience.

Light where you need it

Main beam. Side light. Together.

The main array opens the route ahead. The CRI ≥95 side light can illuminate your footing on its own, or run with the main beam for broader situational awareness.

Product questions

Frequently asked questions.

Everything customers need to understand the new versions, power system, control, and construction.

Performance & versions

01What upgrades does the X80GT 3 offer over the X80GT 2?
  • A built-in 4×18650 battery pack on the White Light Version or a 4×18650 battery compartment on the Multi-Light-Source Version.
  • A new side light that works independently or with the main beam.
  • A patented handle for improved handling and heat insulation.
  • A 4 mm thickened lens for significantly improved pressure resistance.
  • A new magnetic mechanical lock safety feature.
  • Stepless dimming for smooth brightness adjustment.
02Why is the X80GT 3 lower in turbo brightness than the X80GT 2?

The X80GT 3 uses multiple high-efficiency 35×35 LEDs to improve system efficiency, heat management, and long-term output stability. Compatibility with high-CRI neutral-white emitters was chosen instead of a higher-output emitter option. The specification is more conservative, but the result is better beam quality, better color, a smoother beam profile, more reliable sustained performance, and more options.

03Besides white light, what light sources does the Multi-Light-Source Version have?
  • 365 nm · 1,300 mW UV: fluorescence inspection, counterfeit detection, and leak detection.
  • 660 nm red: low-light observation, preserving night vision, and signaling.
04Why is the advertised waterproof rating lower than the X80GT 2?

The waterproofing was not reduced; it is described more conservatively. The glass has been increased to 4 mm, so the actual water resistance is stronger than the rating suggests.

05Why is the X80GT 3 longer than the X80GT 2?

The White Light Version with its battery pack is longer because it needs space for a cell-balancing fast-charging circuit and battery management. The extra length supports faster charging, better cell balance, and safer operation.

06Why doesn’t the X80GT 3 just use a battery holder?

The X80GT 3 uses longer ACEBEAM custom batteries with built-in safety protection boards. To keep the body as compact as possible, the previous battery holder was replaced with a battery compartment.

07How many versions does the X80GT 3 have?

Three. The White Light Version has 24 cool-white LEDs and reaches up to 30,000 lumens and 430 meters. The two Multi-Light-Source Versions use 18 cool-white or neutral-white LEDs, plus 4 red and 2 UV LEDs, and reach up to 23,000 lumens and 401 meters.

08What are the main differences between the white-light and multi-light versions?

The White Light Version focuses on maximum white-light output and uses a built-in 4×18650 battery pack. The Multi-Light-Source Version adds red and UV output and uses a 4×18650 battery compartment with replaceable cells for extended runtime.

09Does it support stepless dimming?

Yes. It adjusts from 150 to 3,500 lumens on the White Light Version or from 100 to 3,200 lumens on the Multi-Light-Source Version.

10What driver and dimming technology does it use?

The White Light Version uses non-PWM dimming and a boost constant-current driver with FCCM control for smooth, stable output.

Use & construction

11What is the side light used for?

The side light has CRI ≥95. It can be used alone to illuminate your steps or together with the main beam for all-around brightness.

12What kind of glass does it use?

It uses 4 mm thickened anti-reflective glass for a crisp, clear, unfiltered view.

13What battery does it use?

It uses a 4×18650 configuration. The White Light Version has a built-in battery pack. The Multi-Light-Source Version uses a 4×18650 battery compartment with replaceable cells, allowing you to carry spares and swap them instantly.

14How is it charged?

It has a hidden USB-C port with a durable metal cover. The White Light Version supports USB-C PD 60W charging and recharges in about one hour.

15What is the magnetic mechanical lock?

It is a three-position magnetic mechanical lock on the Multi-Light-Source Version, designed for safer and more convenient operation.

16How can I carry or mount it?

Use it handheld, attach the patented detachable handle, or use the UNC ¼″ threaded socket with a tripod or compatible accessory.

17What is the patented detachable handle for?

It improves grip when attached and can be removed to save storage space.

18What is the body made of?

The body is CNC-machined from anodized AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy for excellent scratch and wear resistance.

19Is it waterproof and drop-resistant?

Yes. It is IP68-rated for waterproof and dustproof protection and is drop-tested to 1 meter.
